The Fly Shop® staff has spent a good deal of their adult lives fly fishing and guiding in the Rockies, Florida and the Gulf Coast states. Mike Mercer has been fishing Montana every year for two weeks at a time, for the past 35 years. Chris King in our Outfitters Department lived in Breckenridge, CO, and has fished and guided a ton of trout waters in the Rockies. Eric Ersch, in our travel department, was both a Florida Keys, and a Texas Gulf Coast guide before he came to work for us. Justin Miller has been up and down the Washington and Oregon coast swinging flies for chrome steelhead and Erik Argotti lived, worked and fished in Montana for 24 years. Collectively, we have the knowledge base and field experience to help you arrange a world-class fly fishing experience in the lower 48 states.

The lodges and outfitters we have assembled for our Lower 48 Program are a collection of friends we have fished with, and associates we have helped with international trips over the last 45 years. They are a cross section of some of the best outfitters we know of and we trust them to deliver a great fly fishing experience. Put that experience to work for you and let us help you design a unique and enjoyable Lower 48 fly fishing holiday.
